Fares and modes of payment

Transcorp accepts cash fare payment as well as EZLink and Orchid Cards. Fares are charged according to the following fare structure:

EZ Link and Orchid Card Fares on Transcorp Buses

Through Fares

Through fares are charged on all TransCorp bus services. A passenger will be charged according to the above table, the fare for the total number of fare stages he has traveled, regardless of how many valid transfers* he needs to make to reach his final destination.

*Valid transfers refer to a transfer between two TransCorp buses, of which the second bus is boarded within 30 minutes of alighting from the first one.

Transfer rebates

As not all bus operators utilize the same fare structure as TransCorp, a transfer rebate of 25 cents will be given to passengers who transfer between a TransCorp bus and any other bus operated by companies of the FantasyBus Alliance.

Payment Methods

Payment is accepted via cash or EZ Link card/ Orchid Card. For cash payment, a surcharge of 10 cents will be imposed per ride.

EZ Link and Orchid Card Transaction Mechanism

Upon boarding, the system will register the boarding fare stage of the passenger. Upon alighting, the system will read this boarding point and calculate the number of fare stages traveled, and make a corresponding deduction as per the fare table above.

If the passenger transfers to a second TransCorp bus within 30 minutes from alighting from the first bus, the system will recognize the boarding as a transfer, and similarly register the boarding fare stage of the second bus. When alighting, the system will calculate the number of fare stages he has traveled on the second bus, and adds it to the previous trip. The corresponding fare is calculated, and the difference in fare is deducted from the card.
