Service Initiatives

Transcorp counts innovation as our second nature. That's why we continually inroduce new service initiatives to serve our customers better, while at the same time minimising all unneccessary frills to ensure our customers get the best value for money.

Bus Fleet

Since its inception, Transcorp has been operating a young fleet of first-hand modern citybuses. These buses offer the latest available standards of safety, reliability and comfort, while keeping costs low and economical. Bearing in mind the needs of our less privileged, all of our buses are fully low floor and wheelchair accessible.

Bus routes

Transcorp is committed to linking places and bridging people in the most efficient and affordable means. We provide inter-town bus links and services to the city that make use of expressways for a more direct journey. Intra-town and regional services are optimised to give the best coverage amongst neighbourhoods and provide links to neccessary amenities with the least transfers required.

Niche-market routes

Transcorp recognises that each and every commuter is different. That is why we introduce niche-market routes to cater to every commuter's needs. From time to time, new programmes and services will be launched to target specific markets of demand.

Service information

All Transcorp buses have large frontal route number and destination displays that are either printed or electronic. These signs have large font and are brightly illuminated, making them more visible even at night. Each bus will also have a smaller destination sign on the windscreen, indicating the terminating point and colour-coded to identify the direction of travel. Signs for forwarded journeys are painted in blue, return journeys in red and shortworking trips in white.

Each bus is fitted with an on-board LED display linked to the fare console. Upon leaving each bus stop, the name of the next stop will be displayed in both English and Chinese along with a chime sounded. This will certainly help passengers who are unfamiliar with the route, as well as tourists and senior citizens to get around more easily on Transcorp's buses.

Prominent route posters with schematic line diagrams are pasted near the entrances and exits of every bus. These diagrams show the major landmarks and transfer points that the service plies, as well as information on connecting services at the transfer points. These schematic guides are also available as printed brochures available on the rack installed near the entrance of the bus.

In addition, passengers can also call the Transcorp information hotline at 1800-822-8778 (1800-TCBUSSV). This hotline is manned throughout our service operation hours.
